After school - Musical Theatre classes
Hello
Welcome to Ely's Musical Theatre Afterschool Club! For the past 12 years, we've been a staple in schools across Bromley, offering engaging and fun-filled sessions that combine singing, acting, and dancing. Our afterschool class is designed to help pupils build confidence, enhance their creativity, and discover their talents in the performing arts.
What We Offer:
Singing: Our singing sessions are tailored to bring out the best in every child’s voice. Through vocal exercises, group singing, and solo opportunities, students will learn proper techniques, expand their vocal range, and develop performance skills.
Acting: In our acting classes, students will dive into the world of drama. They will learn about character development, script reading, improvisation, and stage presence. These sessions are perfect for nurturing expressive abilities and boosting self-confidence.
Dancing: Dance is a fantastic way to stay active and express oneself. Our dance classes cover a variety of styles, from contemporary to musical theatre choreography. Students will improve their coordination, rhythm, and confidence on stage.
Lucy graduated from Italia Conti Academy of Theatre arts in London 2010 and was lucky enough to train with a three year Scholarship, gaining a Higher National Diploma in performing arts and completing I.S.T.D. grades in Modern and Tap.
Since then she has performed in various theatres, cruise ships and restaurants and taught at Italia Conti Chislehurst & Primary schools for over 8 years now. Lucy started with just one after school club in Bromley and soon saw what a demand there was for such a fun, creative musical theatre session. She built the classes up carefully and hand picked the very best teachers to inspire the children.
Lucy loves to teach and build confidence, and knows the arts are a great way to do this. She still sings professionally in restaurants, weddings and private events - as well as checking in on all clubs regularly.
